Angela Kearns Ceramics

..About Angela
Working primarily with white earthenware clay, Angela's ceramic creations are rich in colour, texture and pattern. Her unique compositions often incorporate a variety of materials, such as coloured wire, metal and millefiori glass.
Angela takes inspiration from her sketches and photographs of the Irish coastline, from the Wild Atlantic Way to her local coastal shoreline of Malahide and Portmarnock. The rich textures of the Dublin mountains, Wicklow forest trails and in particular Malahide Castle and Gardens, all form the basis of her work.
Each piece is mounted in deep set (Irish made) solid wood frames to compliment the three dimensional quality of the work.
She works from her home studio where each piece is individually hand made by her and no two pieces are the same.

Angela's work is mainly made up of private commissions and corporate pieces. She also exhibits annually at Art Source at the RDS
